Working with client’s ages five (5) through adulthood has given Seth insight into the many issues affecting children and families today. Seth graduated from Wichita State University with a Master’s in Social Work in 2005. He completed his undergraduate studies at Pittsburg State University where he received a Bachelor’s of Social Work in 2004. He is a Christian Therapist who is passionate about providing counseling services with expertise and Christian compassion to the Greater Wichita Metro Area.
Seth has experience in multiple clinical settings. These settings include traditional outpatient services, crisis intervention, group, residential (youth and adult), private practice, foster care, and the department of corrections. He also provides clinical services including individual, group, couples and family therapy for a wide range of presenting issues.
Seth is trained in the use of a wide range of therapeutic interventions and theories which include Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Solution-Focused, Narrative, Dialectic Behavior, Experiential, and working with families from a systemic approach with a strategic base. He is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) a specific therapeutic approach directed towards the treatment and resolution of trauma. He is also certified to provide PREPARE/ENRICH premarital and marital assessments.
Seth is married to Janelle, the love of his life and is the proud Father of three children (Brad, McKenzie & Maddison). Jesus Christ is the central part of Seth’s life as he continues to walk daily in his personal relationship with God, striving to stay in God’s will while continuing to allow God to use him and his gift of counseling within his ministry sharing grace, love, and mercy to all those he comes into contact with.
